Accommodation Description:
Situated in the heart of London with Harrods just across the street and Hyde Park virtually on the doorstep this 28 room family owned and managed hotel is your ideal place to stay when in London. Our rooms are exceptionally large and we offer a choice from Singles to Suites. The hotel does not have its own restaurant since Knightsbridge is blessed with a great range but we do serve a freshly cooked breakfast to order in your room. The hotel is well known for its great location, value for money, friendly service and cleanliness.Book early to avoid disappointment!

The Marler family have owned The Knightsbridge Green for many years, and with the help of General Manager Paul Fizia, Deputy Manager Eddie Wright, Head Housekeeper Olga, and Sue, Sarah and Jon as Duty Managers, continue to provide a happy, friendly, quality service. The Knightsbridge Green Hotel was the first in London to receive the London Tourist Board 'Marque of Distinction', which is awarded to hotels of under 50 bedrooms that have high standards of service and product.

We were also finalists in 1997, 1998 and 2000 in the LTB London Tourism awards.

Listed with the following review in the 'Good Hotel Guide'........." An unassuming hotel on Knightsbridge, near Hyde Park, which has been owned by the Marler family for over 30 years.

It is 'excellent value for such a central position' say Guide readers again this year.

The best accommodation is in large suites, with a double bedroom, a sitting room and a 'large and spotless' tiled bathroom.

The standard double bedrooms are a decent size too. the quietest rooms, at the back, overlook the courtyard.

An 'excellent and fresh' breakfast is delivered to the room.

'Guests may also use a nearby Health Club, reception is staffed from 7.30am to 10.30pm.

'The air-condtioning was a great relief during the torrid London summer', wrote an American visitor.

'The Staff were wonderful, I left a bag full of valuable items behind, and thanks to the calmly assuring manager it was delivered to me 2 days later'.

One of London's best kept secrets..................ideally located in the Knightsbridge area of Central London, we are the perfect choice for a friendly, quiet, base to explore the vibrant sights and sounds of one of the worlds most exciting capitals! With world famous stores like Harrods and Harvey Nichols only a couple of minutes walk from our door, and numerous restaurants of all cuisines in the area, there is no better place to call home while in London. We are located on 'Knightsbridge', running in between Brompton Road and Hyde Park and leading to Kensington High Street. The Hotel is only 2 minutes from the Piccadilly Line Knightsbridge Tube Station, and the Number 52, 9 and 10 buses stop right outside our door.

To sample London's varied and hectic nightlife the West End is only 10 minutes away by Tube or Taxi.

Rooms Description: All rooms have a shower, all except one have a bath.

A Suite has a sitting room, which is used to add extra beds where necessary.

All rooms are decorated differently.Breakfast is freshly cooked every morning using the finest produce from Harrods and local suppliers, and served to your room, it ranges from 0a€ž53.50 for an Express, 0a€ž57.00 for a Continental and 0a€ž510.50 for a Full English.Facilities include: Tea & coffee making in all rooms, full air conditioning, all rooms En Suite, direct dial phone lines available, 12 channel satellite television, room bar service available until 8.00pm, hairdryers in all rooms, complimentary Internet access, porterage from 7.00am to 8.00pm, rooftop health club available nearby for an extra fee.

We are a no smoking hotel.Reception is staffed from 7.30am until 10.30pm , and will be happy to assist you with anything you may need.Cancellation Policy: We require 48 hours notice of cancellation in advance of arrival, or 1 nights accommodation will be debited from the credit card number you used to guarantee the booking.

How far are you from the airports, and how easy are you to find?We are only 45 minutes away from Heathrow, either by tube or Taxi.

The nearest Tube stop to the hotel is 'Knightsbridge', which is about 2 minutes walk away.

Gatwick is about an hour away, the easiest method is catching the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station, then a Taxi to the Hotel.

At any airport, catching a 'black london cab' is the most expensive option. Can you book a Taxi to pick us up at the Airport?Due to some problems with guests taking alternative forms of transport once they arrive at the airport, and not informing us, we cannot reserve a Cab for you, however, we can give you the contact details of the Company we use.

We DO arrange for Taxis departing from the hotel. Can you book me Theatre tickets, and tour buses?Yes!

We hope to be able to assist you in any way we can.

We must point out though, that with theatre tickets especially, we would advise booking them as far in advance as possible, as the major shows tend to fill up very quickly.

Online services such as Ticketmaster are a very good way to do this.

Open topped tour buses do not need to be reserved in advance.I notice that Reception is manned between 7.30am and 10.30pm, how do I get into the hotel outside these times? When you check in, you are given a special entry fob, which gains you access to the hotel at night using an electronic system.

The receptionist sleeps in the hotel over night, so there is always someone on hand should you need assistance.

We would advise informing us if your arrival at the hotel is likely to be very late, or very early. Can we arrange for an early check in to our rooms? We understand that many of you arrive on early flights in the morning.

If you require an early check in to your room then we will do our best to service it as soon as is possible.

This is dependent on what time the person in the room departs, checkout time is by 11.00am.

Rooms are guaranteed to be ready by 1.00pm.

To ensure you will have the room very early we advise reserving it for the night before your early arrival.Do you have a car park? No, there is metered parking in the area, but this can be both difficult to find and expensive if you plan on parking for any length of time!

There is a 24hr car park called Kingston House at Princes Gate, SW7 1LN, just a couple of minutes drive from the hotel.

Rate start at 0a€ž53.00 for one hour up to 0a€ž525.00 for 24 hours.
