 The Secret Gardens of Sandwich
  

The Secret Gardens of Sandwich A hidden delight in the heart of historic Sandwich, the Secret Gardens surround a lovely Grade-I listed Georgian-style manor house beside the River Stour, and almost enclosed within the ancient city walls. The gardens were a collaborative project of Sir Edward Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll, two of the most influential early 20th century figures in English architecture and gardening, respectively.

The Weir A lovely riverside garden in the Herefordshire countryside. The Weir was established in the 1920s by Roger Parr and covers 10 acres of land along the River Wye, with excellent views to the Black Mountains of Wales. The Weir is at its best from early Spring to Autumn, when the colours at their peak.

Garden in a lovely setting above the Fal estuary, providing year round colour. Features woodland and riverside walks, with an Iron Age Fort in the park. The garden is built on several levels, with quiet nooks and corners showcasing a wide variety of tender and exotic plants. The colours are especially pleasing in the Spring.

Trevarno Tropical Gardens One of the finest gardens in a county known for its fine gardens, Trevarno combines formal and informal gardens and woodland walks in a superb valley location just north of Helston. Within the grounds of Trevarno is the National Museum of Gardening, a must-see for keen gardeners, and a soap museum featuring hand-made soaps. Enjoy the sub tropical Garden Conservatory, sunken Italian garden, and the Victorian boathouse. The gardens are wonderfully diverse, with plants ranging from bluebells to bamboo. Trevarno is one of Cornwall's great gardens.
