Hatchlands Park
|
|
An 18th century mansion with interiors by Robert Adam. Hatchlands features the Cobbe Collection of rare and unusual keyboard instruments, which is probably the largest such collection in existence. The Repton-designed landscaped park is a backdrop for more formal gardens designed by Gertrude Jekyll. The house was built in 1750 for Admiral Boscawen, hero of the Battle of Louisburg.
