St Bartholomews church, Much Marcle

A lovely church dating from the 13th century. St Bartholomews features some superb medieval monuments, including the painted effigy of Walter de Helyon, and the tomb of Blanche Mortimer, Lady Grandison. In the churchyard is a yew tree thought to be 1500 years old, with a bench set within the trunk.
