We get many inquiries from owners of self catering cottages who would like their cottage to appear on the Britain Express website. There are two methods of promotion we can offer accommodation providers - you may sign up for both:

1 - We maintain a popular directory of cottages that can be booked online, making it easier for tourists from overseas or from within the UK to book their holidays. For this directory we use the services of Cottages Online, an online booking agency that is part of the well-known Stilwell group of companies. We do not charge anything, but Cottages Online do charge fees dependant on the level of promotion you would like. If you would like us to be able to book your cottage online, click here and fill out the simple form. Someone from Cottages Online will contact you to discuss promoting your cottage. Make sure you tell Cottages Direct you would like your cottage to be bookable online!

If you are already listed in our self catering directory but your cottage details need to be updated, please use the form here.

2 - The second way we can help is a simple text link and description in our UK Travel Directory (like you'd find in the Yahoo directory). Click here to see a sample listing. This is only for accommodation with a web site, and there is no charge for a listing. Just browse the directory, find the most appropriate category, and click on the 'Suggest a new website for this page' link at the botom of that page, and fill out the simple form. We've had some very good feedback from some website owners about the traffic they get from Britain Express, but this will naturally depend upon the type of property you offer and your location, among other factors.
