Woodpecker Cottage is set in grounds consisting of gardens densely planted with shrubs and flowers. In addition there are 3 acres of mixed woods and spectacular views down the Irfon valley. Woodpecker Cottage is comfortable and well equipped with its own terrace and garden.

Guests will find a natural swimming pool surrounded by mountains and forests just 2 hundred yards away. Cwm Irfon provides an excellent base for direct access to a wide variety of walks, mountain bike tracks and bridleways. Use of the cottages includes 2 1/2 miles of fishing rights.

Local amenities such as shops and a good pub can be found in Llanwrtyd Wells only 3 miles down the valley along the River Irfon. The four cottages can be rented as one to sleep up to 14 people. Woodpecker Cottage adjoins Buzzard Cottage and has been designed to provide a modern and spacious bed / sitting room with a double bed at one end and a comfortable sitting area grouped around a cosy wood burning stove at the other There is an additional alcove for eating and the kitchen area is also separate.
