Our cottages are set on the slopes of an ancient wooded valley in landscaped gardens within fuve acres of lovely grounds including an ancient woodland,paddocks and orchard.
Yapham enjoys complete tranquility set down our private half mile drive, yet it is perfect for visiting nearby tourist attractions, The Eden Project, Exmoor and Dartmoor.
The Hartland Peninsula is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with breathtaking coastal scenery, wonderful cliff top walks and beautiful secluded beaches. You are sure of a very warm welcome and on arrival will find a delicious cream tea in your cottage plus many other personal touches to make your stay with us truly memorable. The largest of our three cottages, Shipload offers split-level accommodation with wonderful views across the valley.
The living room has an open-truss ceiling and a balustrade that overlooks the beautiful fully fitted new bespoke kitchen. Two bedrooms - one double and one twin with en-suite. Devon Cream tea, homemade jams and fresh flowers greet you.
Guests also have exclusive use of a private fishing lake just five minutes walk from here. Next to the property, guests are welcome to walk around the five acres of land, woodland and orchards. Walk across the fields through Yapham Woods to the sea or walk the two-mile farm trail which abutts our property.
You are spoilt for choice for walking in the area as the peninsula has 12 miles of spectacular coastline, as well as many waterfalls and woodlands bedecked with bluebells in the Spring.
