Positioned on the edge of the owner's 140 acre cattle and sheep farm. There is much to see and do around the area including visiting one of the popular local attractions such as The Milky Way Adventure Park Tamar Otter Park Launceston Steam Railway and many National Trust properties and gardens. The seaside town of Bude is within a short drive and offers 3 very good family beaches a boating canal and much more.
You will be well positioned for touring the whole of North Cornwall and visiting many of the small fishing villages and long golden sandy beaches.Farm activities: you will be invited to join in and watch the daily activities and stroll the surrounding countryside along the nature trail. Play facilities: for the children there is a safe play area ideal to run around and play with swings slide and goal posts.
Amenities: ample-off road parking. Bed linen towels electric central heating and logs included. Regret no smoking or pets.
Location: the nearest beach is Crackington Haven which is about 7 miles away the closest shop is 7 miles away in Launceston and there is a pub within 2 miles. Arrival: 3.30pm.
Shepherds Rest provides superb accommodation and offers FOUR bedrooms: on the ground floor 1 master king-size double with en-suite shower room and WC 1 further king-size double with en-suite shower room and WC 1 twin room and 1 bunk bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. Bathroom: with double spa bath separate shower cubicle and WC. The living area is arranged on the first floor to take advantage of the countryside views.
Lounge/diner: with SkyTV DVD hi-fi games cupboard with a selection of books games and DVD's woodburner and dining table. Kitchen: beautifully fitted country-style with electric cooker fridge freezer dishwasher microwave coffee machine breakfast table and lots of handy extras. Utility room: downstairs with washing machine tumble dryer airing cupboard and sink.
On the same floor is a second lounge with a sofa bed which sleeps 2 together with cane furniture TV and DVD. Outside: french doors lead out to the enclosed patio with garden furniture and BBQ ideal for those sunny summer evenings. Leisure facilities: private use of a hot tub in adjacent converted barn.
