COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS LARGE SECLUDED GARDEN CLOSE TO MANY ATTRACTIONS Nestled in a secluded valley in the Dartmoor National Park this semi-detached cottage built in the early 1800s enjoys a beautiful location surrounded by farmland. The owners who live next door have provided every comfort making this cottage a true home from home property. The grounds of almost two acres include a wildlife pond (please take care with children).
Guests have their own garden with patio and access to an orchard beyond where youngsters can enjoy themselves safely. There are many attractions close by including Dawlish Teignmouth and Torbay (approximately 14 miles) and the beautiful unspoilt South Devon coast between Brixham and Plymouth with its glorious beaches. The wilds of Dartmoor with its excellent walking and riding are nearby and there are four golf courses in easy reach.
There are some lovely local walks through Yarner Nature Reserve with Haytor a well-known Dartmoor landmark only two miles away. Nearby Bovey Tracey has a good selection of shops restaurants and pubs and is home to the Devon Guild Craftsman. This character cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 with double bed with TV/DVD and Freeview 1 with bunk beds (the travel cot will be located in this room when needed).
Bathroom: with bath fitted shower WC and heated towel rail. Lounge/kitchen/diner: spacious area full of character with a woodburner set in the inglenook slate flooring with original beams and stonework flatscreen widescreen TV video and DVD. Step to kitchen offering electric cooker microwave fridge washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Outside: beautiful countryside views and wildlife including woodpeckers buzzards and occasionally deer. Large enclosed garden with patio area BBQ and garden furniture. Large orchard.
