A mile from Tintagel is the lovely wooded valley of St Nectan’s Glen, and within the Glen is Halgabron Mill, where former corn mill buildings and workers’ cottages have been converted to individually-designed holiday cottages.

Millstream is one such cottage, set on the banks of the millstream and with its own delightful patio. This little cottage’s living area is unique – a circular studio with everything designed for utmost convenience in an open plan area. Halgabron Mill is surrounded by 20 acres of woodland and garden, and is both beautiful and extraordinarily tranquil.

The cottage was a delightful gem and the location was excellent with great access to fantastic coastal walks and other quaint villages. Scenery is amazing with delightful hidden coves.

Exactly what it says on the tin, its rustic charm and fairy glen location is charming. The owner was very helpful and it had everything we needed, even WiFi! Perfect for a close to nature romantic break.

Exactly what you expect, Rustic little cottage very cosy and clean ideal for twoo on a romantic break. Absolutely loved this place and its location in a little glen alongside a babbling brook, waterfall and pretty gardens. Had all we needed and wifi!

This is the cutest little cottage for 2 people who like to get cosy. Set in idyllic woodland, it has a secluded sun-trap patio behind. From the delightful garden, you can walk through to a footpath which joins the main path to St Nectan's Glen. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The whole area is stunning and, after a full day of coastal footpath walking, it was a privilege to return to a tranquil and beautiful setting.

On seeing the cottage for the first time it looked delightful. The owner, Roger, gave us a warm welcome and was most helpful. The cottage is small but has lots of charm, it is a shame that the weather wasn't kinder enabling us to sit in the lovely patio. The only down side was the shower wasn't very strong but that was no real problem. We walked through one of the gardens to St Nectan's Glen, the going was harder due to the rain but we came to a caf? and had a welcome cuppa. We then paid ?7.00 to go down to the waterfall, we were the only ones there and it was a place of such peace and calm we thought the money was well spent. There is another long walk from the cottage through Rocky Valley, so glad we did it. The walk to the nearest restaurant is not one I would like to do in the evening, we felt that a car was needed. We had to come home early for personal reasons but we have many happy memories and photos of our holiday in the little cottage.
