With easy access to the region’s local attractions, this cottage is an idyllic retreat for romantic couples or small families of up to three people.

Originally built as a hayloft, this property has been lovingly and sympathetically converted to offer accommodation for up to three people. Exposed beams retain some of the cottage’s original character and the living accommodation has been arranged in an open-plan style to create a spacious and bright feel. Visitors have shared use of the owner’s garden, which offers ample opportunity for a spot of al fresco dining. The cottage also makes a perfect base in the winter months, being heated by oil central heating and an atmospheric wood-burning stove in the sitting room.

The Hayloft was home from home, really comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great, quiet village but near enough to get to lots of places we wanted to visit.
Mrs Parris-long

Lovely accommodation in a great location. Lots of walks directly from the Hayloft.
Mrs Snowden

A comfortable, spacious and cosy accommodation with fantastic views. The owners were very accommodating and nothing seemed too much trouble.

It was our 2nd time at The Hayloft. It was bright, clean, comfortable, in a great setting and with friendly welcoming hosts. We love the peaceful area and it's a brilliant base for a holiday in Yorkshire.
