The Coach House is a charming 18th century semi detached Grade II listed barn conversion which has been traditionally decorated and furnished to provide cosy, well-equipped accommodation.

The Coach House is one of two sympathetically developed holiday homes on the owner’s 22 acre smallholding which is home to sheep, chickens and a large organic kitchen garden from which eggs and seasonal vegetables can be bought. The cottage has two bedrooms, fitted kitchen with dining area, sitting room with welcoming wood burner, and a pretty, fenced garden – a lovely place to relax and dine in after a day’s exploring. Guests benefit from the use of a year-round hard tennis court and coarse fishing (including carp) on the well-stocked 1 acre pond, just 100 yards from the property.

Enjoy walking and cycling in the surrounding countryside, or visit the many historical attractions nearby.

Super location - Beautiful setting
We stayed in the coachouse for a week with our 3 young children - we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the kids really loved the lake and birdwatching hut! They spent hours on end playing in the fields and especially the tennis court. The location is perfect as it is just a short drive into Shrewsbury or Church Stretton and amazing for country walks. The owners are really nice and very helpful - we even arrived to a cake in the fridge!! All in all we had a great time and we will be returning soon.

Fantastic!
Beautiful cottage in an excellent location. Not far from lots of attractions and lovely walks. Beautiful grounds to enjoy tennis, fishing and exploring! Very clean and tidy and flowers and cake on arrival from very friendly owners.

We really enjoyed our two week stay at The Coach House. The owners were very friendly and approachable. This property is ideally suited to families, with a big area available to be explored around the farm and in the woodland area. The house was warm and cosy and just a short drive from Shrewsbury. A real home away from home in a lovely location.

A lovely rural location with ample attractive grounds, a tennis court and a large yet cosy country kitchen. The property is close to the main road into Shrewsbury with many places of interest nearby. The owners were friendly.

Shropshire is a beautiful county and The Coach House was the perfect base for exploring it. My daughter (15 months) loved seeing the sheep every morning and particularly enjoyed collecting eggs one afternoon.
