Able to sleep eight people across a double, and two twin bedrooms, this wonderful house also enjoys large, attractive gardens and space for al fresco dining within the stunning mountain scenery.

Set in two acres of grounds, this attractive, 18th century stone-built farmhouse enjoys an elevated position between the villages of Rhosgadfan and Carmel on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. This classic, period property has been tastefully furnished and decorated throughout in a sleek, modern style. With two large, chic living rooms - each with an open fire or wood-burning stove - three excellent bathrooms - including a sauna and spa bath – as well as three bedrooms, the entire property is luxuriously appointed throughout. With such a fabulous home-from-home, and so much to do in the area, your holiday to North Wales is sure to be a memorable one.

Owl Farmhouse was lovely and in a great secluded location. The house was well presented and it was a lovely gesture to receive wine and chocolates from our host on arrival.

Owl Farmhouse is in a beautiful isolated location and perfect for families of 4 to 8 and close to most of the major attractions.10/10!!

Owl Farmhouse is in a beautiful, fairly isolated location which adds to the charm of the house and is a perfect family retreat after long days exploring the many and varied attractions in North Wales. Facilities at the house were excellent - it's even got a sauna! Kitchen has everything you need for self-catering with the sort of equipment you would buy for your own use as opposed to cheap kit you normally expect to find in a holiday rental! Beds were comfortable although the sofa bed in the separate lounge was quite firm. x3 log burners - perfect for that country feeling when they are lit - could do with a fresh batch of logs as the existing are just rotting wood and don't burn like fresh logs. Gardens are nicely landscaped with a nice garden house overlooking the country-side. We used this as a base to visit 'zip-world' (velocity & titan which are about 12mls apart) Access to Caenarfon, Anglesey, Llanberris, Snowdon etc all very easy. I would recommend checking the route to Owl Farmhouse on Google maps, dropping the yellow fella on to the road just outside Rhosgadfan, to make yourself familiar with the junction close to the turning for the house. When you turn off on to the track it looks like you're heading in to fields but this is soon forgotten when you arrive - perfect!!

We stayed at owl farmhouse for my dads 60th birthday and had a fantastic week. The farm house is beautiful and in an amazing location. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable with good quality bedding. It is slightly out the way but that was part of the charm for us. I honestly couldn't fault owl farm house and will be returning.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location, for a great price.
