This impressive, six bedroomed house overlooking the market square in Wotton Under Edge offers exceptionally comfortable, quality and welcoming accommodation for fourteen people.

Chipping House is a wonderfully bright and spacious detached Georgian house by the market square in Wotton Under Edge, in the Gloucestershire countryside. The house simply drips with character and charm, including high ceilings, large rooms, original features and wooden floors. The master bedroom suite offers an emperor double sleigh bed, en-suite and dressing area, and there is a further double with en-suite, two twin rooms and a lovely family suite incorporating three single beds and steps leading up to a further three single beds and an en-suite. The beautiful sitting room has a piano and a woodburner, just right for carols at Christmas or simply magical all year round. While presented to a very high standard, this property is also child friendly, with a second sitting room which offers, along with an extensive library of maps and reference books, a rocking horse and dolls' house. There is also a study, and WiFi access. The fabulous family garden completes the picture, with a large lawn, summerhouse and outdoor games. A very special property, perfect for that special family get-together.

The house was so comfortable, spacious and airy. The kitchen was so well equipped with so much cutlery and crockery. We felt so relaxed in the property. Its situation was excellent and we felt we could all move happily to Wotton-under-Edge! Thank you for helping our family enjoy such a wonderful celebration.
Mrs Wilson

The House was easy to find and perfectly located so that once cars were parked on arrival, everything was so accessible that cars were not used throughout our stay; walks from the House are extensive. The House itself is absolutely beautiful; warm and cosy, and the atmosphere so relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the bedding good quality, the towels were soft and the hot water plentiful, the bathrooms were warm. The House was so well maintained. The hot tub was an added bonus, with mood lighting and twinkling lights as darkness falls. We were a group of 9 friends and each of us agreed we would return. It was perfect in every way.
Mrs O'Brien

The owner was so friendly and helpful prior to our arrival. The location of the house is perfect, within walking distance of all town amenities, lovely places to eat, and surrounded by beautiful walks. Parking for several cars within the grounds. The house wrapped us in warmth and relaxation, the atmosphere is welcoming and homely, and there are so many features that made our stay so special. Quality and attention to detail in such an historic family home. The hot tub with twinkling lights as darkness fell was gorgeous! Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, endless hot water, logs for the wood burners, so much China, cutlery and cooking utensils. Highly recommended

The house was comfortable, spotlessly clean with ample information on both the house and places to visit. It would be hard to think of a better location, we could just to walk into the town centre for a meal and it was unexpectedly quiet for such a central situation.

A lovely house - felt like a home rather than a rental cottage. Very well equipped kitchen - particularly as we usually cater for ourselves.
