A Grade II listed, detached cottage in an isolated location a mile from the market town of Llanrwst, this property sleeps four people in two bedrooms.

Pen-y-Fron is a detached cottage on the slopes of the Conwy Valley, a mile from Llanrwst and 5 miles from Betws-y-Coed. The accommodation here is full of character, with two lovely bedrooms, one king-size double and one twin room, as well as a stylish bathroom with roll top bath, shower, basin and WC. The living areas of the cottage are cosy and welcoming, with a large farmhouse kitchen and dining area, and a sitting room with an open fire in the inglenook fireplace, and exposed beams throughout. Outside this 300-year old cottage is a sunny garden with summer house, and off road parking for 3 cars. So close to the amenities of Betws-y-Coed and the stunning landscapes of the whole National Park, Pen-y-Fron makes a wonderful Welsh retreat for couples and families alike.

Fantastic location, lovely cottage.
We stayed half term week. Me, husband and two children (10 and 4). Such a perfect location and a lovely cosy cottage. Close to Snowdon, the seaside, Bodnant Gardens, Zip World............................... So much to do we ran out of time!

Pen y fron is a very beautiful cottage, in a quiet surrounding. Beautifully restored house.

We had such a lovely relaxing holiday, the only thing wrong was it had to end. The two weeks went so quick. You felt right in the middle of nowhere but not far from anywhere, even our dog enjoyed it. Would recommend it to anyone.

My ideal holiday cottage
Sat for hours on a sunny day looking at view from front door enjoying nothing but odd tractor in the distance and the bird song from trees in vast garden around cottage can only score it 9/10 as I don't live there otherwise it would be 10/10

Tho was our second visit to Pen y Fron and it was again excellent. It is impossible to say what we liked particularly about the cottage as the whole experience is good. It is probably the most comfortable and cosy cottage we have visited and is just as good in mid winter as it is in early summer. We shall be back for visit 3!
