Great place for a few days away, perfect for that self catering break. Whenever you see the owners they always check everything is OK nothing seems too much trouble for them. The pub in the village serves great food but book before you arrive. Thanks for everything

Liked the cosiness of everything being in one room. The weather was sunny but freezing and The Friendly Room was a delight to come home to and find warm and welcoming. It was a lovely break for four nights and just what we needed.

The Friendly Room is a lovely little place situated near some fantastic walking routes in the Dales. The owners were so welcoming when we arrived and have really thought of everything to make it an enjoyable stay. I'd recommend it to friends and family, very impressed.

Lovely comfy "Room" with everything you need for a chill-out break. In a convenient location in a lovely village with the 'Game Cock' pub round the corner serving lovely bistro food. Great scenic walks on your doorstep or within easy travelling distance. The owners have taken care to make 'The Friendly Room' a lovely place for a break.
