Sleeping up to nine people in four bedrooms, this well-equipped detached property is set in the grounds of Skidby Lakes Golf Club, less than 2 miles from Cottingham near Hull.

Woodhill is a spacious, detached property in the grounds of Skidby Lakes Golf Club, overlooking the lush green fairway. The four bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, offer flexible accommodation with three doubles and a twin, one of which is on the ground floor and one of which has an additional day bed for an extra guest. There is a kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining room and a sitting room with a cosy woodburning stove.

Outside there is a lawned garden with pagoda and furniture, as well as off road parking for five cars. With the city of Hull and the market town of Beverley on the doorstep, and York and Bridlington easily reached, Woodhill makes a wonderful base throughout the year.

RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Utterly disappointed
Me and my family stayed here last month, 6 of us in total. 3 of which are disabled. We had a lovely stay at this nice property although very dated, which lots of reviews already state. We did have a couple of incidents which were reported to the owner. The first one happened in the dining room. There were 6 dining room chairs, 3 of one kind and 3 of another. They were very wobbly and we commented daily on these. One morning my disabled cousin sat down for her breakfast and she literally fell through the chair, the legs just buckled. She already has a bad back so was in distress and obviously the shock of the event. The owner was called straight away to report it however we were unable to reach her so left a voicemail. She rang back and left a voicemail which we still have, saying she will assess it when we leave the property and that she was sorry it happened. Now I've been to a lot of holiday homes in my time, roughly 5 a year and if anyone is hurt or there is an issue in one of the owners properties, the decent thing to do is come and check everyone is ok, take the chair away and apologise. On close inspection of the chairs, they all had glue sticking them back together, photos have been taken and have been sent to sykes who we booked though. The other small incident that happened was i myself got locked in the downstairs bathroom due to the lock being dodgy. Other than these incidents we had a lovely holiday and left a nice review. To our horror we recieved an email from sykes the other day saying the owner has complained about us damaging her property, she has said we done the following: Smashed a chair to pieces Broke a slat on a bed and Rived the breakfast bar off the wall. Now this is complete lies. We are a family of 6, 3 being disabled, 4 of us pentioners. The youngest being me at 31, so no children, no party animals. We go on lots of stay cations each year and have never had anything said about us. We always leave the place cleaner than when we arrived. We literally cleaned every room before we left, took all the linen off the bed and in piles for the cleaner. We are disgusted that such lies have been told about us. As i say we do have photographic evidence of how unsafe the chairs were. If you look at all the reviews the majority say how dated the furniture is. We are extreamly upset about this and hope the owner sees sence and retracts the lies before it goes any further. The voicemail and photos are on there way to sykes, so hopefully they will see how we are genuine people. To have our names slammed as being something were not is very upsetting. Ive had my severely disabled mother in tears to me yesterday, so as you can imagine I am sad and angry at this situation. So my advice this is a beautiful properly but if you go, take as many pictures when you get there and lots when you are leaving.

Great for families.
All of our party could not believe the space within this property. The location was good too. The windmill was a good place to take the 2 and 3 year olds. It was clean and we did appreciate the milk, tea, coffee etc. We had good weather, so we were glad the lawn had been cut, as we played games out there with the children and dog. Best thing about this property was it's size. Nice to have our own bathrooms too.

Woodhill is a lovely property with great views and in a very quiet location. We had everything we needed. We were lucky with the weather, even sat in the garden . Our little dog loved her holiday as well .

A large clean comfortable house in a good location. There was lots of space for all the family. It had easy access to Hull and the East coast.
