Full of character!
Spacious but quirky cottage with every amenity. Very well presented. Tideswell is a lovely village and there are shops to cater for all your needs, everyone is very friendly. Great base to explore the Peak Dustrict. Perhaps not suitable for toddlers given the upside down arrangement and steepish steps to garden. There is a stairgate however. Bedrooms are small and we just managed to fit a travel cot into the upstairs double bedroom. Remember to pack a hairdryer...I forgot mine!

The cottage was warm and welcoming. The delightful living area on the first floor was very comfortable, and there was plenty of light. We liked Tideswell a lot, it was quiet but with some excellent places to eat and buy provisions.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we did not want for anything. Stoneycroft is in an excellent location close to amenities, cathedral and pleasant walks. The locals were really welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

The cottage has bagfuls of character and we wanted for nothing. The Location is fantastic and Tideswell is perfectly central for local area of interest.

Lovely house
We stayed here with family ranging in age from 25 to 76. We were all delighted with the amenities and the overall excellent presentation and cleanliness of the place. It truly is home from home. There is next to no activity in Tideswell so we found ourselves driving out nearly every day. Lots of walks in the area (but only one we could find in the village). The only spoiler for us was the awful weather but that was of course completely out of the owner's control.
