Still Fabulous
This was our second visit to Tawney House. As before, the apartment was warm, cosy & well equipped. Key collection was hassle free. The car park for the apartment residents ensured we never had any problems parking. It is a fantastically situated apartment - 2 minute walk to the park & 5 minutes into Matlock. The Peak District & Derbyshire are a beautiful part of the country & well worth a visit.

The cottage is ideal for Matlock. There is a great kids play area and park 2 minutes walk away and a nice pub opposite. The cottage was very good to stay in with everything we needed. It was a shame to come home.

Loved this apartment. We had a fabulous week and will not hesitate to return. The apartment was perfect; warm, cosy and comfortable. It was perfectly situated to travel around Derbyshire. There was a bus stop immediately outside and the station within a 10 minute walk. No problem parking. Perfect.

Perfect
What can I say about this cottage? We loved it! Car parking - Off road space. No problems parking. Value - Amazing value! Bathroom - Spotless and modern. Bedrooms - Clean & warm. Bedding & towels provided. Living area - Open plan. Kitchen has all you need. View to the church was lovely- the church is lit up at night. Packet of biscuits on arrival - a lovely treat. Sofa was comfy. TV has Sky. DVD's & books if required. Location - 5 minute walk into Matlock through the park. Matlock is lovely. It has independent shops as well as high street brands. Big Sainsbury's near by. Easy walk to the train station - the line goes to Newark via Nottingham & Derby. The X17 bus goes to Chesterfield & Sheffield from outside the apartment & a bargain at £5.80 for a Day Explorer that includes the trams. Owners - Lovely. We had a perfect break & look forward to going back. The only thing to note is that the property can only be reached by outside steps.
