With six bedrooms set over three floors, sleeping up to thirteen people, this character property in the quiet hamlet of Preston Patrick makes a wonderful family base.

This semi-detached character property is set in a small rural hamlet called Preston Patrick, amid lovely rolling countryside just six miles from the pretty town of Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage has been converted to an extremely high standard, and ensures that character features and stylish décor sit alongside modern comforts. The living area is on the first floor, and boasts a Juliet balcony to enjoy the lovely views, as well as a well-equipped kitchen and a woodburner. There are doors to a spacious patio, which is shared with the property next door, making this ideal for large groups of friends or family to enjoy the area together. En-suites to some of the bedrooms, and geothermal heating and solar panels mean this cottage is both eco-friendly and convenient for families. Close to both the Lakes and Dales National Parks, this cottage makes a wonderful base for groups.

Such a beautiful location and the views were amazing, would highly recommend this excellent cottage and will definitely be booking again, thank you, 5 Star.
Mr Brennan

The property was perfect for the size of our family, it was homely and welcoming with stunning views. Mrs Robinson was very helpful and allowed the children in our party to use the large meadow at the back of the house for playing which was a huge bonus. The facilities in the cottage were very good, we saw lots of the natural world eg hares in the meadow, a baby calf being born and birds of prey in the meadow. The weather was stunning too which made everything seem better.
Mrs Lamb

A lovely house with plenty of space. The owner was really friendly and ensured we were well settled in.
Mr Harris

The cottage was perfect for our family gathering. The owner was very pleasant on arrival and very helpful. We would recommend it any time.
Mr Jeffrey

This is a great location on edge of Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, ideal if you love walking. We took a walk direct from the cottage along the canal, beautiful. The cottage is clean and well looked after. Kitchen, dining, living room on middle floor was ideal for a large group. Loved it
