This Victorian mid-terraced cottage is centrally situated in Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast and can sleep eighteen people in nine bedrooms.

6 Abbey Terrace is an imposing Victorian mid-terraced cottage, centrally situated in the historic town of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Spread over five floors and made up of nine bedrooms (four doubles, three twins, a single and a family room) with three shower rooms and two bathrooms, this cottage can sleep up to eighteen people in comfort. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a fitted kitchen, a dining room and two sitting rooms - one with an open fire. Outside the cottage is a small front garden with some seating and off road parking for two cars with on road parking also available on a first come first served basis. Just two minutes' walk away from all of the amenities of Whitby, including the beach, 6 Abbey Terrace is a fantastic holiday cottage for a large family or a group of friends.


I booked the house for my sister's hen do, and what an amazing place! All the girls were so impressed with the amount of space and quality of the house, perfect for our afternoon tea. The location is perfect too, short walk to the harbour. Some of the group are already planning return visits!

We found 6 Abbey Terrace to be very spacious and clean and the size of the house was amazing. The property is very well placed for the town centre too.

This is one of the best houses we have rented for our "Annual Cousns Weekend". We have been doing this for the past 11 years. It was my turn this year to organise it, a huge job. The minute we walked in through the door everyone said how lovely it was and also how clean and fresh it smelt. The owners had left a welcome pack along with a card saying they hoped we all would enjoy our stay in Whitby. The house was just perfect, most of the bedrooms were very large, the smaller ones were still a very good size. Beds comfortable, sheets, covers etc very fresh. The kitchen was well equipped and there is plenty of room for the 15 people who were there. The dining room was well set out with plenty of chairs. The sitting rooms were comfortable and extremely relaxing to sit in. We needed help with the wifi and the owner was around in less than half an hour to fix it. A very nice, pleasant man. After arrived home I received an email thanking us all for the condition we had left the property in. We have never had this before even though we have always left any houses we have rented in the condition we found it in. I forwarded it to all the group and everyone was delighted to hear this. I would definitely recommend this property to people. The situation was perfect, the house was exactly how it looked on the website. You won't get a better property in Whitby.
