RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

The whole experience was simply great and the hospitality of the owners was the icing on the cake. The cosiness of the cottage with the terrace garden and sea views were wonderful and we will consider staying again.

The views from the back garden were outstanding, especially with the sunsets. We really enjoyed looking at all the stars through the open windows in the roof and listening to the owls and the bats, not something you get living in a town.

Cosy Little Barn Conversion - And Dog Friendly.
Set up a very rutted farm track, it's really not suitable for anything other than a 4x4, which thankfully I had. The views from the rear garden are lovely and its situation is prefect for hill walkers and is extremely close to The Blue Lake (in the hills opposite the cottage). Very friendly and helpful owners and the cottage itself was clean & well presented. My only little niggle was that with poor eyesight (I need glasses for long distance), I found the very small, wall mounted TV was so far from the sofa, that I had trouble seeing what was going on and couldn't read the text at all. Definitely an upgrade to a larger TV when funds allow. I didn't use the TV in the bedroom, as to me it's just somewhere to sleep - so instead of two TVs, perhaps just the one large one would make more sense, especially when the night's draw-in and the weather turns nasty and all one can do is snuggle up on the sofa and watch a DVD etc.
