Within 100 yards of the cottages lies an excellent local pub that enjoys a superb reputation for its restaurant. Traditionally beamed the pub takes its name Botolphs Bridge from the local legends surrounding St Botolph a 7th-century monk. There is an excellent selection of beaches to explore all within 3 miles and many beautiful walks including the Royal Military Canal which has recently seen improvements for walkers and cyclists. The cottages sit conveniently within a few minutes drive of the motorway yet each enjoys a tranquil spot with countryside to the front and views of Lympne Castle across the fields to the rear.
