We spent a very enjoyable long weekend at The Cottage. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. Perfectly situated for walks and places to visit I have already recommended it to a colleague.

We had an excellent holiday in this beautiful 'home from home.' The location was perfect for us with amenities very close by. We did a lovely walk around 'The Litton Loop' straight from the door. The kitchen was well equipped, all of the bedrooms were huge and the wardrobe room was wonderful for hanging space. It was beautifully furnished and with everything you need, I would recommend this place to anybody. The owner was also extremely helpful with answering all of my questions before we went. Full marks!
Mrs Gibb

The size of this property is perfect for the number of people it is advertised for and it is in an excellent location for the Peak District. The heating was already on when we arrived so it was really cosy as soon as we walked through the door. Instructions for access were easy to follow and spot on. There was everything in the cottage that anyone would need including some excellent DVDs and board games which were really useful as it rained all weekend. The beds were very comfortable and very clean also plenty of towels were supplied and tea towels in the kitchen. The view of the church is lovely and the little square where the cottage is located is quaint. The amenities in the village are good for a village location and there are nice pubs and cafes for eating out.
Mrs Harrison

A great location with good local amenities. The owner was very helpful in recommending places to eat and drink. The Cottage itself is lovely and homely, had a great time.
Mrs Fitzgerald

The rooms were very spacious and had very comfortable beds. The cottage was warm, quiet and equipped with everything we could possibly need, including indoor entertainment options & local tourist guides. The cottage location in the centre of the Peak District National Park made for easy access to so many attractive towns, villages & scenic areas for walks. All of this made for a very relaxing stay, and there was ample space for our family gathering of 3 generations.
