This detached cottage is located in the village of Coddenham in Suffolk and can sleep three people in two bedrooms.

Foresters is a detached, thatched cottage in the small Suffolk village of Coddenham near to Ipswich. The cottage sleeps three people and has one double bedroom, one single and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is a small rear patio with outdoor furniture. Set in a quaint Suffolk village, Foresters is a superb romantic holiday cottage, any time of year.

we booked this cottage as it was an old thatched cottage and we had always wanted to stay in a quaint little country cottage' we were not disappointed either ! it was a rustic and charming little cottage with low exposed beams and small low doors. situated in the very pretty village of coddenham, just 8 miles north of Ipswich. even though the main road was busy through the high street ,in the evenings it was very peaceful. at night you could look up and see the sky full of stars as no light pollution here! I didn't realise how beautiful Suffolk was ! there are so many pretty villages nearby and we were not far from all the places of interest. there are also plenty of public footpaths allover and around the area.

Loved the rustic 400 year old thatched cottage, it had real character. It was situated peacefully in surrounding countryside and pretty village. Couldn't believe how many beautiful villages are nearby!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The cottage was very clean and provided us with everything we needed, including detailed information regarding walks around the village, places to visit and things to do in the surrounding villages and towns. The cottage was very rustic and had lots of character. The bed was extremely comfortable with good cupboard space and the bathroom was modern but with that cottage feel. Our favourite part of this beautiful cottage was the wood burning fire and wooden beams throughout. We spent most nights sitting by the fire, drinking wine whilst watching a variety of DVDs that are available to watch. I highly recommend staying here, we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

We stay here with a dog and young child whenever we are in this part of Suffolk. It is very cosy with a wood burner and many charming original features ? defines the word 'rustic'. Very convenient for the village and dog walks and easy access to the A14. The bathroom is modern but feels old-world, with a nice big free-standing bathtub. The second bedroom is small but ideal for a child, and the main bedroom is excellent. Contrary to another review, the kitchen is well-stocked and big enough for a couple cooking together. The cottage is next to the main road through the village, but the noise is barely noticeable to a city dweller! One downside is the parking, which is on the other side of the road and can be tricky at busy times. We were also unable to get phone signal here, but there is good WiFi provided by the owner. The small flaws here are far outweighed by the charm of this historic thatched and beamed cottage.

A charming cottage, oozing character. In a good location to reach beautiful Suffolk villages and coast.
