Superb Holiday
The accommodation is really high quality. Three good sized bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and three bathrooms (all with good quality showers). The cottage is well heated and insulated and towels and bedding are also provided. The owners are really friendly, lovely people, and you will find coffee, tea, milk and wine left for you on arrival, just what you need after a long drive! The location is fantastic, peaceful and relaxing a great place to escape from the stress of work, yet just a short drive from the towns of Alnwick and Morpeth. The cottage is also just a short drive from many of Northumbria's glorious sandy beaches, ideal for a young family. This is our 5th or 6th stay at this place and we will definitely be booking again next year. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The property was of outstanding quality and beautifully kept. The owner was very nice and friendly and helpful. The Lodge was 'off the beaten track' and lovely and quiet, just what we wanted, absolutely top notch. As a family we generally rent detached cottages/cabins/lodges and this is as good as anything we have rented, at any price!
