Lovely surroundings and a really cosy cottage.

Very spacious and all you could ask for!
Having stayed here for a week with our family and their children I can highly recommend this property for space and everything you need. In fact, for a self catering property the owners left extras such as washing up liquid, cloths, toilet paper etc - thank you. The bedrooms are of a good size and the attic room was absolutely perfect for my three granddaughters. The living area was large enough for all to sit and the dining room perfectly adequate for meals. Being an older property that has been extended the floorboards do creak somewhat but this just adds to the character. As a warning I must say that the entering the property is on a bend and the cars do tend to speed around so you do have to be careful when leaving the property especially with children and dogs. I also recommend that you do not follow the postcode sat nav as this will take you to the wrong place. This cottage is so centralised all attractions and activities are with a short drive away and for a walk in the Forest of Dean you only need to cross the road.

A beautiful cottage in one of the most unspoiled and magical places in the UK.

Beautiful Cottage and Equally Beautiful Area
Cornerstone Cottage met all our expectations. It is a beautiful cottage in the most amazing forest of Dean. Everything is literally 10 minutes drive away from the cottage (Steam Railway, Forest Walks, Sculpture Trails, Bike Trails, Caves, Puzzlewood, Go Ape to name a few) which makes this a perfect base for all the surrounding activities. Lovely sized living room, kitchen and dinning room. Easy to use shed/lock away for your bikes. Our only problem was that the fridge needs to be a little bigger. To sum up: A beautiful cottage situated on the outskirts of the most amazing forest. Definitely recommended and we would love to go back again next year.

As six adults we met up for a late Autumn walking weekend. The cottage was excellent with it's cosy wood burner and with loads of space.
