Located near the pretty Roman Legionary fortress of Caerleon, with strong connection to the site of King Arthur’s Camelot, this charming stone-built former mill nestles in a tranquil valley near the River Usk surrounded by a working sheep farm. Superb footpaths and walks from the property.
A short drive away is the local town of Caerleon which has a selection of shops, cafés and restaurants.
Ideally located to explore the stunning Usk and Wye Valleys and close to Cardiff, the culture rich capital city of Wales, and equally, Bristol. Excellent road links mean you are well placed to explore Cardiff, the Forest of Dean, and beautiful Brecon Beacons. Kitchen: small galley style with two ring electric hob and a combined microwave and oven, (regret no oven), leading out onto a south facing balcony with seating area. Outside: private garden area with seating, 25 acres of grounds to explore. Amenities: off-road parking for 2-3 cars.
Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking in the property. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome, must be kept on a lead.
