Stroll down to the river, or grab your surboard for an excilerating afternoon at one of the local beaches. Enjoy the nature of The Camel Trail right on your doorstep and take life at a slower pace. Approached via a private tree lined drive The Stable is in a peaceful location but only moments away from the bustling riverside town of Wadebridge.

The property offers generous accommodation for up to 6 guests and has been fully renovated to a very high standard. Entering via a stable door, the large kitchen/diner offers modern luxury with granite worktops, integrated appliances and all mod cons perfect for eating in. Leading from the kitchen/diner the lounge is furnished with a large corner suite to cosy up on whilst enjoying a night in front of the flat screen TV or enjoying a quiet read.

There is also the added benefit of a downstairs WC. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and a family bathroom. All the beds are pocket sprung and quality bedding all aim to ensure a good night's sleep.

The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and bedroom three can be arranged as either a twin or king room. The south-facing aspect of The Stable give it a lovely light and airy feel and the furnished patio and fully enclosed garden is a great place to relax and enjoy a BBQ. The location of The Stable is great for exploring all of Cornwall having easy access to both the A30 and A39 Atlantic Highway.

Wadebridge is a pleasant half mile level walk along the riverside and has a great selection of independent shops and restaurants. It is still a 'proper' town with family butchers, bakers, fishmonger, deli, coffee shops and cinema. For the more active there are tennis courts for hire, a bowling green, leisure centre, play park and of course surfing at nearby Polzeath.

The Camel Trail is a real highlight of the town and is a delightful 17-mile long traffic-free route for both walkers and cyclists. The 5.5 mile route to Padstow follows the shoreline of the estuary, and is incredibly scenic.

Along the way you will find several places to stop to enjoy either a bit of birdwatching, or just to take in the spectacular view. In the other direction the trail leads to Bodmin where the landscape is more wooded. Enjoy a diversion from cycling or walking with a stop at The Camel Valley Vineyard to sample some of their award winning wines.

Only a short drive away the nearest beach is at Rock with it's wide expanse of sands and dunes, perfect for taking in that sea air before relaxing with a coffee at one of the many eateries or spoiling yourself at Nathan Outlaw's restaurant. Just across the river from Rock and accessed either via the passenger ferry or a short drive by road is Padstow. Affectionately called 'Padstein' by locals, it's picturesque harbour is a must-see.

As is Port Isaac, again only a short drive away and home to the TV drama 'Doc Martin'. So much to see and enjoy, make The Stable the place to stay for your next visit to Cornwall.
