This 250-year old stone cottage is situated in Delabole, near the coastline of North Cornwall, with two double bedrooms accommodating four people.

Horseshoe Cottage is a wonderful, 250-year old stone cottage in Delabole, on Cornwall's north coastline. The cottage has original beams and stone floors, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs, there is also a kitchen with a woodburner and a sitting room with a dining area and an open fire. Outside, there is a small patio with furniture and off road parking just 20 yards away from the cottage. Horseshoe Cottage is in a wonderful area of Cornwall, with Port Isacc and Tintagel a both a short drive away.

Well presented and well equipped holiday cottage everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Owner lives close by so if any problems they are there to help . Beds are very comfortable and heating upstairs keeps bedrooms nice and warm . There is an open fire downstairs and logs are provided and they can be purchased at the shop at the top of the road for ?3.30 per bag which lasted us 3 days . Good Wi Fi signal allowing access to internet to check for places to visit and eat . Stairs are a bit steep but they do go straight up so should not be a problem . Excellent bath and shower and heated towel rail keeps bathroom nice and warm . Really nice welcome pack including lovely home made cake which I had to eat by myself as my wife does not like fruit cake there was also bacon , eggs , butter and small boxes of cereal and milk to go with them . The parking is in the Slate Quarry about 200 yards away with a drop off point outside the cottage .

Well located for touring north Cornwall coast, very friendly welcome and every thing you need in a nice small village.

Beautiful 250-year-old cottage built from the slate from the quarry just a couple of hundred yards up the road. Cosy sitting/dining room with open fire and good TV for those cosy evenings in. Kitchen with all mod-cons (inc. dishwasher & washing machine), plus crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc. Top-notch bathroom with great shower and bath. Very comfortable bed. A lovely touch was the welcome pack, including homemade cake, bread, milk, bacon, eggs, porridge and biscuits, plus bag of logs & kindling. Spotlessly clean. Ideally located for St. Ives and Tintagel principally, but other North Cornwall towns and villages (e.g. Boscastle, Padstow and Rock) also within easy reach. Great local pub 5 minutes' walk at top of road - looks unassuming, but is a proper local with friendly staff and good food that's amazing value. Nice chat with the owner (who were very friendly) on arrival and departure - made us feel very welcome. They live just around the corner, so on hand for any queries, but didn't disturb us at all and we felt very much at home. Would recommend this place and also want to return.

Horseshoe Cottage was ideally situated for visiting all the tourist villages and sites and the beaches are great for surfing. The cottage has every thing you could want for your stay.
Mr Tanner

Lots of thoughtful touches in the cottage e. g. a home- baked cake, milk and bread were provided for our arrival. Plenty of information about the area was on hand. We loved the area as we are keen walkers and found wonderful walks right on our doorstep.
