A beautiful cottage which was immaculately clean and so well equipped. One of nicest cottages I've been in, and the hot tub was lovely.

Brook Cottage is incredibly well equipped with utensils, decorations and local information. The whole place is kept in immaculate condition!

Quality accomadation
We stayed here from the 4th July to the 11th, myself, wife, two kids and the in-laws. On arrival we found the cottage very welcoming with tea, coffee, cookies and milk waiting for us. Just what we needed after the long drive from Fife. Kids could not wait to get in the hot tub but had to as the temp was slightly cooler than would have been comfortable(31). However it did not take too long to heat up and they were in there within 2 hours of arriving. Local supermarkets are quite close, although we chose to go to the large Tescos 4 miles away as they had more choice. The cottage is well equipped for six people, although it could possibly do with a few more glasses and possibly plastic glasses for using while in the hot tub. We had a relaxing day on the sunday (well it was British Gand Prix day) and decided to do something on the Monday. Monday we went to the heights of Abraham over in Matlock and spent the best part of four hours there before heading back to the cottage. We also spent time at the Cromford canal, Arkwrights mill (not impressed), Speedwell and Peak caverns and the Midland Railway centre and would not hesitate to go back to this area again.

The Cottage is very unusual and quirky. The little history provided by the owners is interesting. The garden is a veritable sun trap and the hot tub just puts the icing on the cake! The six of us, covering 3 generations, ranging from 7 years up to 60 years of age, all enjoyed staying at Brook Cottage. We'd certainly recommend it to others.

The cottage was lovely with lots of character, and the hot tub in the cottage garden was an added luxury. A central location for visiting the beautiful surrounding area of the Peak District/Derbyshire.
