Comfortable stay in pretty character cottage
Cabbage Hall Cottage is attractively decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It has a fully equipped kitchen in which the owner had thoughtfully left a tray of biscuits to welcome us. Parking is in the street, but we never had any problem parking nearby. Although not in a village itself, the cottage is close to interesting villages and sightseeing destinations. We enjoyed a trips to York to see Goddard's House, The Treasurer's House and The Chocolate Story. We also visited Castle Howard and Harewood House. All are in easy reach.

This is a delightful, cosy cottage which was a home from home. Everything was well thought out. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Lovely Home from Home
This was a lovely long weekend away. The cottage was lovely and the sofa bed very comfy! (there were 3 of us).
Julie made it special with lots of nice treats and surprises (like fresh flowers!). Parking could be tricky but it really didn't bother us. Really enjoyed our time at CHC.
