Best self catering cottage in the Peak District
We have just stayed in this Cottage for a week and it was superb there was every thing we needed for our week and more there are things like a needle and threads and other little touches. The cottage is roomy with all the facilities you need it is well situated only 300 yards from the best Public house in the village booking is necessary most of the year especially on pie night (not necessary to have the pies other food still available ) We all found the beds comfortable and the one bathroom was very good especially the shower. Youlgrave (not Youlgreave) is well situated for all of the Peak District with Bakewell only a short drive away. All in all a very good rental property

Delightful cottage, glorious location.
This is a delightful cottage, very comfortable, accomodated six adults and a dog easily, and has fabulous views. The cottage has all the amenities and equipment you can think of as well as some thoughtful extras. The kitchen was full of modern efficient amenities and we cooked in several times. The shower in the bathroom wonderfully efficient especially when several of us returned from long hikes. The location is excellent both as a starting point for walks and to travel to places of interest. The addition of bird feeder, bird seeds and spotters book brilliant as we observed species that we had not seen for many years. A very relaxing place to stay.
