This welcoming, semi-detached stone cottage, on the edge of Crackington Haven in Cornwall, sleeps four people in two bedrooms.

The Old Cider Press is a lovely, semi-detached stone cottage, one of a group of similar properties set on the outskirts of Crackington Haven in Cornwall. With a double room and a room with adult bunk, the property can sleep up to four people. There is also a family bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars, a front patio with furniture, plus a shared lawned garden and tennis court. The Old Cider Press offers charming accommodation, with walking trails winding past the door, and is within just a couple of miles of the splendour of North Cornwall's dramatic coast; a great base for friends and families.

Lovely cottage but now needs a little updating
In a really beautiful part of Cornwall with lots to see & do. This area has a spectacular coast line with lots of little coves. The lovely ports of Boscastle & Port Isaac are nearby. Lanhydrock House (NT) is definitely worth a visit as is the slightly quirky Cornwall at War Museum at Davidstow (next to the cheese processing plant!) The Old Cider Press cottage is part of a complex of similar old barn cottages & a large house. It is a very nice & cosy cottage but is now in need of a little updating here & there. The cottage has a good well equipped modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher & microwave. There is a modern built in oven with ceramic hob. The 2 sofas in the sitting room area were extremely uncomfortable with no lumber support & really now need replacing. When we stayed there the large off white colour rug in the sitting area was dirty & stained (probably not the best colour for a holiday cottage!) The main bedroom was nice but only has a double bed, whereas a king size would be nice. The second bedroom is also nice with bunk beds, probably more suited to children. The bathroom is a little old fashioned but perfectly adequate although the extractor fan vent was clogged with dust. The outside patio area & step rails are in need of renovation. There is quite a bit of noise from traffic as the cottage is right on the road. The TV channels were difficult to navigate & although a computer & printer were kindly available for visitor's use, wifi was intermittent. There was a DVD player & games machine for children along with some DVDs, books & games. We appreciated the vase of lilies & bottle of white wine left for us (albeit a very sweet low alcohol variety!) Overall however we did enjoy our stay at The Old Cider Press!
