Cosy and Comfortable
We booked the cottage for Christmas. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were show around the cottage with everything explained to us. The cottage was warm and cosy with plenty of logs and coal for the open fire. The rooms were very comfortable and the location very peaceful. The owners had provided decorations and a Christmas tree prior to our arrival, which was a lovely touch, along with a welcome pack.

We have just spent a fantastic week in this fantastic farm cottage, considering there are cows and sheep on this farm, it was so quiet and peacefully. The cottage was so warm and cosy with the wonderful coal fire, perfect for winter holidays. It as very well equipped, it is a great base for pickering, Scarborough Malton etc Brilliant Holiday cottage well recommended

We felt like we had chosen such a lovely cottage to stay at, and the location of it was great for commuting to different places in Yorkshire. We visited many of the sea side locations and Dalby Forest and the drive to and from the cottage was good.

This was our 9th holiday at this cottage, for us it is the perfect holiday location from the point of view of location and the welcoming but unobtrusive owners.

Bellafax is our perfect holiday location
We have just returned from our 9th holiday at this cottage - our perfect holiday location. Bellafax and its owners offer a warm welcome, and there are views of green fields from every window - this time with the added bonus of new lambs. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped and ideally located for the North York Moors, with the steam-train to Whitby, and excellent bus-service from Malton to York, or Whitby, and the beautiful Dalby Forest within a few miles. There are many attractive villages in the area, as well as Castle Howard, Yorkshire Lavender and more than enough to fill a week's holiday or more. We can highly recommend Bellafax, and will be back next year.
