A great relaxing week in North Wales
Weather was a bit iffy but there was plenty to keep us occupied. Prestatyn and Rhyl should be avoided in my opinion, Llandudno was a parking nightmare so we went up the Orme instead with it's stunning views. We tried the Electric Mountain at Llanberis but never considered we'd need to prebook; same with the Snowdon mountain railway. So saved quite a few ? but just having a wander around instead. Stunning driver across the park to Betws-y-Coed where we were met with another parking nightmare so back to Penrho for a chilled evening instead. The hot tub needs a few hours of log burning to reach temperature so some forward planning is required and it can get very hot so keep the hose on standby. The kitchen has an aga so needs some careful cooking to avoid cremating your food. The sun lounge was the focal point for our party. There is a local shop, walking distance, for morning papers and forgotten things and quite a few supermarkets a short drive away.

We booked Penrho Hall due to the size of the property, three families with 12 people in total meant the accommodation and space was perfect. The photos on the website looked stunning and the property in the flesh did not disappoint. A lovely property, well kept with fabulous outside space. The log fired hot tub was great. We would definitely recommend this property and would look to return again in the future.

We loved Penrho Hall; the conservatory, the hot tub, and the surroundings, even the horses in the adjacent fields.

Great accommodation for families or couples looking for a nice place to enjoy with their friends.

The house was stunning, the grounds were fantastic and there was excellent parking. There was so much character about the property, it was a magical experience and made a truly memorable Christmas. I would recommend Penroh Hall to anyone and hope at some point to stay there again.
