Perfect, peaceful beach-side cottage
Gulls Hatch is the perfect place to combine a seaside holiday with the beautiful Lake District. Easy access to Keswick and the Western Lakes (Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite, Buttermere) but also possible to get to the more southerly areas such as Windermere. The cottage has everything you could ask for, has very welcoming owners and is probably the cleanest cottage we have rented. Allonby has a beautiful sandy beach that stretches for miles. All amenities are on your doorstep or 5 minutes away in Maryport. This was our second visit and we will definitely return.

It was nicely placed for sightseeing and in proximity to the beach for walks, visiting coastal villages and towns and trips into the lakes. The cottage was nice to relax in and chill in of an evening to watch TV.

The property is a credit to the owners who are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. One of the best we have stayed in; so well equipped and very clean. Excellent location, lovely views and plenty of flat walking. Well recommended.
