The property was warm and cosy, yet very spacious. The bed was large and comfortable and there was loads of storage space for clothes. The lovely village of Warkworth and the fabulous Druridge Bay Country Park were both a short drive away, so a very good location. The owners were very helpful and also very dog friendly.

Great new year
We had a great week here over the new year. The cottage was warm and comfortable and the Railway inn next door was warm and friendly too, with a good choice of drinks and food. The owners were very helpful and friendly especially Helen. The location is very good only 3 miles from the lovely village of Warkworth, and the fabulous Druridge Bay country park.We had a good new years eve in the Railway with great entertainment from a local singer who sang almost non stop from eight to well gone midnight. The only negative point was the food that we were served which was very disappointing for the ?20 a head price!.We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend a holiday in any of the available cottages belonging to the Railway Inn.

The holiday was fabulous. The accommodation was perfect. The food in the pub was wonderful and the hosts were friendly. It was a brilliant place with brilliant beaches nearby. Definitely going again.

Great base to explore the area
We stayed at Rose Cottage for a week with our two dogs. Surprisingly spacious with all the amenities you could need. Bonus having The Railway Inn right next door, serving lovely food. Rachel and Helen were fantastic hosts and very helpful. This was a great base from which to explore Northumberland. Nearest beach is less than 10 mins away, Castles galore and country walks in all directions. It was so good that we will be returning again next year!

Rose Cottage was spacious and more than adequate for us and the dogs. The owners were very helpful and great hosts. This is a fabulous base from which to explore all of Northumberland, and beaches were only 10mins away and dog friendly all year round. We loved our weeks holiday and will most certainly be coming back here to stay.
