Peaceful cosy retreat
Stayed in Kings Courtyard Cottage in Oct 2016. It is a lovely cosy cottage in a quirky quaint little courtyard right in the centre of Bakewell. It has the added bonus of a dishwasher & washing machine so we were able to do the majority of the washing before coming home getting it out of the way (alway my most hated chore of coming home) . There are many pubs & restaurants within steps of the accommodation in Bakewell meaning there is no need to drive for eating out on an evening. I would recommend taking a small torch for use when coming in & out of the courtyard at night as it can be a little dark trying to unlock the entry / exit gate although the bonus is that it is a private courtyard to the few properties within it that no one without a key can enter. I would certainly recommend this property & would certainly return upon my next visit to Bakewell

Kings Courtyard Cottage is an excellent base to explore Bakewell and surrounding areas, we found it to be very warm and cosy with all the needs we required for a great stay, it is very clean and tidy with big screen TV and a comfortable bed and a great shower, we could recommend to anyone.

We liked the central position in Bakewell. The cottage was beautifully positioned in a quiet courtyard away from the traffic. It was warm and cosy, but we had plenty of space. It was good to have a parking permit for the evening and over night.
Mrs Genlloud

The location of the cottage was ideal regarding access to all local amenities & transport. Overall, a first class temporary residence. It was a wonderful experience to be able to spend the day in such a stunningly beautiful environment.
