Needs a deep clean.
Spacious flat near to beach and a short walk into town. Great potential to be a first rate holiday apartment but needs a really good clean. We had to wash everything before using. Cushion covers and curtains were stained. Between settee cushions was truly disgusting with bits of food etc, not sure it's ever had a clean. Dust, dirt and spiders webs behind bed and down side of bedroom drawer unit. Inside built in bedroom cupboard was mould and mildew. Placemat set on table was dirty with food remnants. Also kitchen or bathroom lights didn't work, wasn't bulb as neither light lit up. We reported this first night we were there but no reply or help. First time we used oven we were smoked out due to spillage left in bottom of oven, extra worrying as this did not trigger smoke alarm despite the thick smoke filling the kitchen. There is also a lack of things we would have expected, the main one being a wardrobe or somewhere to hang clothes. Until this flat is sorted there is much better available in the area I am sure.

convenient
The flat was clean and nice and well equiped. Shower was fine and easy to get in and out of . Three of us stayed two adults and one child , there was parking and was near shops , spa, and restaurants . Went into scarborough to sea life centre and local zoo, lots of shops and nice people, felt really safe and not expensive would use again. Owners helpful .

Lovely but not ideal for disabled
Good location, local news agents , and two local shops, over the road from spa theatre and beach.well decorated good quality furnishings, clean beds and bedding. Downside for my disabled partner was shower door, it didn't open far enough . Then from kitchen to lounge dining area you have to go through two fire doors , one you push open the other you pull to open... Not easy trying to do this with one hand whilst trying to carry food or beverages.also it states selection of DVD's and books, there were none only 5 editions of knitting magazines. These are only observations and not criticisms, a young family or couple would have a lovely time there.
