Amazing cottage and location! Right on the sea, beautiful costal walks from your back door and excellent pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Water sports in season and a safe cove for children. It's a little gem that you won't want to leave!

Lovely cottage, lovely location
We stayed here recently for one week, the cottage is lovely and finished to a very high specification, with all amenities including, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The accommodation is over 3 floors with a sitting room at the front of the house and a kitchen diner at the back with a shower room with toilet leading off this. The stairs go up from the kitchen to the second floor where there are two good sized bedrooms one with a king bed and one with twin beds. The stairs continue up from a small landing to a large room in what would have originally been the attic, it has a king size bed and an en- suite shower room. Both sets of stairs are very steep, and painted with white gloss paint, this could be a problem for older people who have difficulty with stairs, not least of all because unless you use the top floor room with the en-suite, you will need to negotiate the bottom flight of stairs if you need to use the bathroom in the night. Cawsand is a very small village but it does have a shop which also does take out food and a very nice pub both of which are in the same square as the cottage. Two minutes walk around the corner from the cottage is a small cove and beach, where a passenger ferry comes in and you can take a trip to Plymouth or you can sit and while away some time watching the ships across the Plymouth Sound. A short walk away up the hill is a very nice artisan bakery and caf? and a little further on is Kingsand where there are other pubs and shops. There are more shops, including a good CO-OP, and pubs in Milllbrook which is about 2 miles away. Parking for the cottage is in a public car park a few minutes walk away, one parking pass is ibcluded in the rental but if you take more than 1 car it will cost about ?35 for a week. For a nice relaxing break this is definitely worth a visit.

This is an extremely well equipped cottage furnished to a high standard. We were really comfortable and very content. Excellent.

Perfect cottage
A beautifully restored seaside cottage. Lovely decor throughout and extremely well equipped. We couldn't fault it and had a most enjoyable stay.

Perfectly situated for the beach and the village had all essentials available. Could not have asked for better accommodation.
