Cosy cottage in the most magical village
Have stayed here twice. Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay - great fireplace for cosy nights in, comfy bed and good shower. Waddington is the prettiest village with the Higher Buck and Waddington Arms less than a minutes walk - both excellent for food. The owners are super helpful and let us rent the cottage last minute and we can't thank them enough for that it truly saved our anniversary week! We love this place so much won't ever stay anywhere else when we visit the area! Plus the old lady next door is lovely.. and her little cat Frank. If you are looking to visit Waddington stay in this cottage, you won't have any regrets thankyou again Andy.

Facilities not as described.
Cottage is in a fabulous location within walking distance of 3 excellent pubs and a short drive to excellent walking country. Overall cottage was very comfortable, however not without effort. On arrival the heating was permanently switched off, and cottage was icy cold. There was no instruction / welcome folder as you would usually find in a holiday rental. There was no starter pack for the log burner as advertised. If the advertised bike store was the shed at the top of the garden, it was locked with a padlock and no instructions how to open the lock (so no bike store as advertised). Had to contact owner to find out about heating, WiFi etc. After we had bought kindling, matches and logs, the wood burner worked well, and the cottage was comfortable. The heating on Auto failed to ignite every morning, so we awoke to a freezing cottage each day. The owner did not contact again throughout the stay to ensure everything was ok. The guest book was full with the last entry 2018.

Fantastic location, beautiful, tastefully decorated cottage. Would highly recommend.
Brilliant location, lovely local pubs with delicious food. We ate in the Higher Buck, great food and service and it had a warm friendly atmosphere. The cottage is beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated. We would highly recommend a visit :-)
