"Poppit Sands" is a glorious sandy beach just 3 miles away where the clean shallow sands make it an ideal, safe, swimming and boating beach. There are 170 miles of coastal path to choose from and inland the Preseli Mountains dominate the skyline.
Other attractions include craft workshops, woolen mills, 'The Centre For Alternative Technology' at Machynlleth, narrow gauge railways, old gold and silver mines, historic castles and churches and for the sports enthusiasts an 18 hole golf course and squash courts at Gwbert-on-Sea.
