The hotel has its origins in a 16th century farmhouse and an inn has reputedly stood on the site from earliest times.The Suffolk pink, ivy-covered building is a welcoming beacon attracting an eclectic mix of local residents, passing travellers and people working at nearby business parks. The internal decor of the hotel is a blend of the old and the new with brass spotlights and chalkboards complementing the warmth and character of original brickwork, solid oak beams and large fireplaces

Regimental badges of the servicemen and women from the nearby base decorate and add charm to the bar.

Leave A1 at Junction 14 and follow signs to The Stukeleys on the B1043 (Ermine Street). After passing through Little Stukeley (and RAF Alconbury) you will come to the village of Great Stukeley. The Stukeleys Country Hotel is situated on the corner of Ermine Street and Church Road the first turning to the right on entering the village.
