Directions
Travelling to the George Hotel could not be easier with excellent road, rail and coach services. Reading is accessed from the M4 at junctions10, 11 and 12 and The George Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Reading’s railway station. By Road Junction 11, M4, A33 to city centre, follow signs to The Oracle shopping centre. Secure car parking is available in The Holy Brook car park. Walk through the shopping centre towards Minster Street. The George Hotel is located opposite The Oracle exit. By Rail Reading Central Railway Station is 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. By Air Heathrow airport is only 35 miles from Reading. RailAir RailAir is a frequent, convenient, luxury coach service between Reading Railway Station and Heathrow Airport (terminals 1, 2 and 3).The service runs daily, 17 hours a day, with departures every 20 minutes Monday to Friday daytime, and every 30 minutes Saturday and Sunday daytime with a frequent evening service until 2307 (last from Heathrow).
