The Golden Ball is a traditional 16th Century thatched Inn situated in the peaceful village of Boxworth only one mile from the main A14 road. There are 11 guest bedrooms in the modern annex and a large bar and restaurant in the main building. The property is privately owned and combines all of the charm and character of the original with modern amenities in all of the rooms.

The hotel annex offers 11 modern en-suite rooms all of which offer rural views Freeview TV Tea/Coffee making facilities and free access to Wi-Fi throughout the property. A full breakfast is served each morning in the restaurant. We are open daily for lunch and dinner providing a cosy and informal dining experience in the main bar or restaurant.

Our a la carte menu selection is wide and varied alongside a number of daily special dishes. We offer a comprehensive range of wines (many by the glass) three real ales and a full bar. We look forward to welcoming you!
