Situated just a few miles from the ancient City of Chester. This award winning family run Historic Manor House, dates from the thirteenth century. Situated in a quiet green valley

Furnished mainly with antiques, incorporating all the modern requirements of today including free wireless internet access . There are low beams, oak panelled doors and log fires when necessary.The house is licensed

Cooked complimentary breakfasts are served in the dinning room 0730 to 0900hours Monday to Saturday and 0800 to 0930hours Sundays. We are sorry but we only provide breakfast now, but are happy to make a reservation for you at good restaurants close by for an evening meal. Guests are welcome to arrive after 1600 hours, but if you wish to arrive earlier please telephone us to let us know your expected arrival time

We are normally flexible over this. Also please notify us at the time of your booking of your estimated time of arrival if it is likely to be after 1900 hours. Latest initial registration time 2230 hours unless agreed to otherwise

Close to Chester 7 miles, Wrexham 16, Manchester 38, Liverpool 25 . There is off road free parking. Local interests are the Roman walled city of Chester with its race course, Chester Zoo,Cheshire Oaks, Chomondeley Castle, Tatton Park,Oulton Park motor racing circuit, Ness Gardens, Lever and Walker Art Galleries, Beeston Castle, ,There are seven golf courses within a five mile radius

Nearby are several well known walks including the Sandstone Trail and the Shropshire Union Canal.

Directions:
From the South Take M6. Leave at junction 16 towards Nantwich on the A500. Follow directions for Chester on the A51. After the village of Tilstone Fearnall turn left at the traffic lights onto the A49 towards Whitchurch. After approximately 34 of a mile take the first right to Huxley. Take the 2nd left (after 3 miles) go past the Farmers Arms pub to the T junction then turn left and immediately right down a named tarmac drive.From the North 7 miles south east of Chester. Take A41 from Chester towards Whitchurch. Turn 4th left after the A55 roundabout signposted to Waverton and Huxley. Continue and follow canal. 1.4 miles after crossing the humpback bridge turn right down a named tarmac drive opposite the T junction where the sign points to Huxley.
