St Ives itself has lovely old cobble streets, a quaint fishing harbour, many restaurants and pubs, gift shops, cafes, Cornish pasties galore, and not forgetting its own lifeboat station. The Eden Project is an hour drive away, with St Michael's Mount and the Minack Open Air Theatre close by. St Ives has its own swimming pool and leisure centre. There are a number of blue flag beaches nearby all with their own unique character and offer a wide variety to suit different tastes.
