The Lynton Guest House is situated in one of the best positions in Newquay, overlooking the Killacourt, an open grassed area for relaxing and the unique Island House on Towan Beach. This area lends itself to the natural changing scenic atmosphere, from good sunbathing and beach games for all ages to the excitement of the high tides breaking between the Island and the Headland. Its an inspirational part of holidays in Cornwall especially on the North Coast

From our windows can be seen the coastline stretching to Trevose Head near Padstow some 12 mile away. Now well established in the Lynton we have attained a 3 star rating from Visit Cornwall who are held in high regard.All of our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and colour televisions

We are centrally heated throughout. The dining room is laid with separate table for your comfort.All our guests have the necessary keys allowing you to come and go as you please

Free parking is limited but unrestricted parking is available on the Crescent. All cuisine is under the personal supervision of the proprietors and we endeavour to maintain a friendly service with plentiful food to give you an enjoyable holiday.The Newquay area boasts seven sandy beaches with world wide recognition for its surfing championships

Less than 2 minutes from the Lynton is the town centre, with a good variety of shops, amusements, restaurants and pubs/nightclubs. The coast path in either direction enhances the beauty of Cornwall and many short walks inland take you to outstanding countryside which the beach visitors often miss. The Gannel Estuary, Trenance Leisure Park, Zoo and boating lake are all within this category

Directions:
Travelling southwest on A30 follow signs for Newquay A392 approx 5 miles.You will come a village called Quintrell Downs at roundabout take 2nd exit.Follow road for approx 2 miles.At next roundabout take 2nd exit (straight over) follow road for approx 12 mile.At next roundabout take 1st exit onto Trevemper Road follow to next roundabout and take 2nd exit onto Ganel Road. Follow for approx 1 mile.At next roundabout take 2nd exit onto Tower Road and follow for approx 14 mile.Take 2nd turning on right into Hope Terrace (one way street).The road will curve round to the right where you will se a shop on thrigh hand side called 'Paint Spot'. Take the next turning on your left. It will look as though you are heading into the town centre and there maybe a lot of people walking in the roads!Follow the roadaround to the left passing the 'Central Inn Pub' which will be on your left hand side. Take the immediate right turn opposite 'Londis' onto Beach Road.At the junction turn left and then right where you see the sign for 'The Crecent and Hotels'.You will find Lynton House situated on the right hand side.Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are having any trouble finding us.
