The Farm is at the end of a private drive surrounded in 27 acres of beautiful countryside overlooking the valley of Mawgan Porth A tranquil and relaxing holiday and yet a fun seaside holiday with Mawgan Porth Beach just a 10-15 minute walk away. For golf lovers, an 18 hole golf course and fishing lakes are adjacent to the farm. There are many beautiful countryside and coastal walks direct from the farm, and for those seeking a more lively holiday, the bustling town of Newquay is just a 15 minute drive away offering more beaches and a large selection of Restaurants Watergate Bay is a mere 5 minute drive and the Old Cornish fishing town of Padstow is 15 minutes drive away where you will find Rick Steins World Renowned Seafood Restaurant and the famous Biomes at The Eden Project a 30 minute drive away. Merlin Farm is an ideal base for all your Cornish sightseeing. Please note that over the winter months work is being carried out to convert barns on the farm into holiday cottages (ready for Summer 2009) there may be noise Mon - Fri approx 8am - 4 30pm, no work is being carried out over the weekends nor over the Christmas and new Year period 22nd Dec - 5th Jan.
